Ball Mill Automation Retrofit

Full retrofit of a ball mill system from manual to automatic operation. The project covered end-to-end delivery: control panel design and manufacturing, PLC software development on Siemens S7-1200, and on-site commissioning. Temperature and lubrication-based control logic with equipment protection scenarios ensures safe operation under all conditions. ABB drives handle motor control while an integrated Gresan lubrication system provides automated bearing protection. Operator-dependent failures were eliminated, maintenance became more systematic, and production continuity improved significantly.
